Chicken Inn gets off the mark

After dropping two points on the road when drawing 1-1 with Herentals in the opening weekend of the season, Chicken Inn got it right in their second game, beating Triangle 2-0 at Barbourfields on Saturday.

The Tonderai Ndiraya charges scored through Lynoth Chikuhwa and Innocent Musiiwa.

Ndiraya said: “I am happy with how my boys carried themselves. The first game was a bit tough although we could have won it.

“The match against Triangle was also very tough but the boys did well to get the result.

“We are taking it one game at a time.”

Chikuhwa opened the scoring inside eight minutes and Musiiwa got the insurance goal with eight minutes before full time.
