Chicken Inn target first win against Triangle

Chicken Inn head coach Tonderai Ndiraya says his team is determined to secure their first win of the season when they face Triangle United in the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League on Saturday.

Speaking during the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Ndiraya said the team is working on improving discipline and intensity following a tough outing against Herentals in their previous match.

“The match against Herentals was a tough contest that required full concentration throughout,” Ndiraya said. “But we have worked on our weaknesses and the players understand the importance of getting a positive result in the next game.”

The Chicken Inn coach said preparations have been centred on correcting mistakes and sharpening the squad ahead of the weekend encounter.

However, Ndiraya cautioned against underestimating Triangle United, noting that the technical team has closely analysed their opponents.

“Triangle have several experienced players, so we have to approach the match with the right mindset and intensity,” he said.

Ndiraya will also be looking to register his first win in his second game in charge of gamecocks, having joined the club at the start of the year.
