Chicken Inn target Hardrock

Chicken Inn forward Lynoth Chikuhwa says his primary objective is to become the first player to score at the new Chahwanda Stadium while helping the Gamecocks up the log.

The Bulawayo team travel to Kwekwe to face Hardrock on Wednesday.

Both teams are on four points having won and drawn once each in their respective opening two games of the 2026 Premiership season.

And this midweek tie is expected to produce fireworks as it features two of the country’s greatest goalscorers; Chikuhwa for Chicken Inn and Washington Navaya for Hardrock.

It is Chikuhwa who is targeting to score first and help Chicken Inn win.

No goal has been scored at Chahwanda Stadium yet after the opening game between Scottland and Hardrock drew blanks last week.

“I want to become the first player to score at Chahwanda Stadium,” said Chikuhwa.

“But I won’t mind seeing someone else score for so long Chicken Inn goes on to win the match.”

Match day 3 continues this Wednesday spilling into Thursday.
