"It was natural that we would hit them on the break. I think we did that, Mike was let loose, then we got that penalty," he explained.

Ndiraya also hinted that more improvement could still come, revealing that the club hopes to strengthen the squad during the transfer window.

If the Gamecocks continue combining defensive discipline with the attacking threat shown against FC Hunters, the climb up the Castle Lager Premier Soccer League table could gather even more momentum in the weeks ahead.
