Mabhunu’s defensive masterclass earns him LuckyBets Player of the Match award

Chicken Inn FC defender Itai Mabhunu was rewarded for his outstanding performance after being named LuckyBets Player of the Match following the Gamecocks’ 1-0 victory over TelOne at Luveve Stadium.

Mabhunu played a crucial role in helping Chicken Inn secure a clean sheet as they completed a league double over TelOne and recorded their third consecutive Castle Lager Premier Soccer League victory.

The defender was outstanding throughout the contest, showing composure, strong positioning and determination as TelOne searched for a way back into the match after falling behind.

With the visitors applying pressure in the second half, Mabhunu stood firm alongside his defensive teammates, making important interventions and helping protect Chicken Inn’s narrow advantage until the final whistle.
